During the 1st century A.D., a \u00ab\u00a0new town\u00a0\u00bb, Noviodunum, was built on the site of Jublains and became the Roman capital of the Diablintes territory. <br>Preserved by time, the remains of the monumental sanctuary, the baths, the theater and the large fortified complex on the outskirts of the ancient city are open to the visitor&rsquo;s gaze and curiosity&#8230; it is an exceptional archaeological site to discover.<\/p>\n\n\n<section class=\"display1 flex\">\n  <div class=\"display1__content flex__col\">\n    <h3>ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOUR<\/h3>\n    <p>Wander freely through the monuments located in the village. Until 1995, most of the research focused on the public monuments of ancient Noviodunum.<br>Since the end of the 1990s, programmed excavations conducted by the Department&rsquo;s archaeologists in several residential areas have made it possible to discover more about who the inhabitants of Noviodunum were and how they lived there. It is a considerable work of exploitation of archaeological excavation data and dialogue between scientists, archaeologists specializing in digital modeling, researchers in digital design, computer graphics, etc.. which has been conducted. The augmented reality restitution now allows us to see the main place of worship of the Diablintes in all its splendor.
